As graceful Libra finishes her journey through our relationships we now enter the deep underworld of Scorpio. The Sun in Scorpio begins Oct 23 bringing our attention to matters of life and death, other people’s money and resources, issues of sexuality and intimacy, destruction, transformation, and renewal.

I have personally found that a Scorpio can teach you a lot about death on many levels they make excellent psychics, counsellors, policeman, firefighters and criminal investigators as they have the ability to accept death and help us to understand it.

Scorpios have tremendous staying power, determination and control. Their ability to probe, penetrate and decipher assists them in gaining the truth but with this in mind they are also very clever at keeping the truth hidden which makes them attracted to the darker elements of nature, our shadows and the underworld.

While Scorpio is being intrigued by the mysterious and darker side they may submerge themselves into gaining experiences, in regards to power, control, obsessions, desire, passion, pain and suffering. With their sensitivity and compulsive need to uncover the truth they can confront their fears, go deep within themselves and use their talents of investigation to face their shadow thereby destroying that which no longer serves themselves or others and ultimately transforming, recreating and renewing; finally releasing themselves from bondage.

So what does that mean for us?

Whatever is holding us back, whether it be fears, old habits, self-destructive patterns or hidden resentments now is the time to let go, search within, find out was is holding you back and then release it so you can be reborn.

We may feel more vulnerable, sensitive and threatened during this period and with Mercury retrograde in Scorpio also in the mix our plans can go awry, so it’s best to use this time to reflect on the past and use our intuition to guide us out of our shadows and into the light.
